Our Team
With over 20 years in the building industry, Ash Hellier founded AH Carpentry 13 years ago with one goal, to deliver solid, high-quality builds without the flash or fuss. Based in the Mackenzie, we’re a small, hands-on team that keeps every project personal and carefully managed from start to finish.
We only take on a few builds each year so we can focus on quality, communication, and finishing every job to the highest standard. That means realistic budgets, reliable timelines, and clear updates every step of the way. From the first site visit to the final handover, Ash is on the tools, overseeing every detail.
Ash Hellier
With over 20 years in the building industry, Ash started AH Carpentry 13 years ago to focus on quality over quantity. He’s still on the tools every day, making sure every detail meets his own standards. Away from the site, Ash is a family man with two boys who keep him on his toes — when he’s not building, you’ll find him out hunting or on the boat.
Ed Guerin
Ed joined the team straight out of school in 2022 and is wrapping up his carpentry apprenticeship this year. Born and raised in the Mackenzie, he brings a strong rural work ethic to the job. He’s big on hunting and plays for the local rugby team — a good bloke with a solid head on his shoulders and a bright future in the trade.

Lee-Ann keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, handling the admin and organisation for A.H. Carpentry. Friendly, efficient, and always on top of the details
